Dr. Daniel Goldberg
Dr. Goldberg says that what he loves most about dentistry is that it encompasses his passion for helping others, working with his hands, and having the chance to form relationships with his dental patients and their families. He enjoys that he gets to have a consistent, positive impact on people’s lives, and he can’t wait to do the same for you. Below, you can start getting to know Dr. Goldberg a little better.
Why Did You Decide
to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Goldberg comes from a family of healthcare providers, so he was drawn to the field from an early age. He eventually shadowed his dentist as well as his dad, a family doctor, to determine whether medicine or dentistry would be a better fit for him. He ultimately chose dentistry because it would allow him to spend more one-on-one time with his patients, and he would get to see the immediate and long-lasting effects of his care.
Where Did You
Study Dentistry?
Dr. Goldberg studied physiology and psychology at Western University in London, ON before earning his DDS degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 2017. There, he graduated with honors and was named the most outstanding student in clinical oral surgery and anesthesia.
Following graduation, he completed a one-year general practice residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, in Chicago, Illinois, during which he gained extensive experience in oral surgery, emergency care, as well as treating medically compromised patients.
Since then, Dr. Goldberg has continued to advance his skills, providing dental care to patients in the GTA and Muskoka regions. He has taken numerous continuing education courses, which have covered topics such as sedation, endodontics, digital dentistry, and dental implant dentistry. He is also certified to provide Invisalign as well as nitrous oxide and oral mild sedation.
Dr. Goldberg is a strong believer in life-long learning and continues to stay up to date with the latest advances in dentistry to be able to provide the best treatment to his patients.
Outside of the Dental Office,
What Do You Like to Do?
At home, Dr. Goldberg likes to spend time with his wife, Chloe, and their mini Goldendoodle, Piri. He loves the outdoors and staying active and is a huge Toronto Raptors fan. One of his biggest passions is traveling, getting to see new places and meet new people from all over the world.
